Here is our response to your letter of 2/12/02. 1. GENERAL: After 9/11, we hired an environmental cleaner to clean up the buildin: both inside & outside (see enclosed bill) 2. CLEAN-UP: About a month after the clean-up, NYC-DEP inspectors came.and inspected the building and agreed that it was environmentally clean. However, [ did not give us any documentation. So far, we have not been reimbursed for any work, and have suffered financially, since one of the three tenants left and we ar in serious financial condition 3. AIR-CONDITIONERS: We sent the window air-conditioners to a factory where th were steam-cleaned and will be in storage till next summer.. 4: ON-GOING: ” Since we live in the building, we are very concerned with the quality the environment. Weekly, we clean the common areas (stairway and lobby).
