(c)(2) Excursion limit. The employer shall ensure that no employee is exposed to an airborne concentration of asbestos in excess of 1.0 fiber per cubic
centimeter of air (1 f/cc) as averaged over a sampling period of thirty (30) minutes, as determined by the method prescribed in Appendix A to this section, or
by an equivalent method.

centimeter of air (1 flcc) as averaged over a sampling period of thirty (30) minutes, as determined by the method prescribed in Appendix A to this section, or
by an equivalent method.
Respiratory Protection: Half face negative air respirator equip with HEPA cartridge.
• Limit of quantitation based on volume of air collected and 5.5 11100 fields as per the NIOSH 7400 method. The report value is
calculated by using the higher value of either the actual concentration or thelimit of quantification reported at P(0.05) indicating the 95%
