This inspection was the continued monitoring of the DEP clean-up activities at the site. All work to be performed in accordance with contracts WTC-LBC and WTC-LBA. Clarifications and updates were provided to the contractors and residents by e-mail. Copies of correspondence to be incorporated with these inspection reports.

Mr. Bob Middleton of ETS was on site. He indicated he expected to meet all project deadlines and he stated he would be submitting a new work schedule.

I entered the work area with the project monitor, the site supervisors, and Mr. Rammohan.

Work progress was in accordance with the scope of work.

Samples were collected of the surfacing material (fireproofing) from the 4th (001-005), 7th (006-010), and 9th (011-015) floors. Samples were collected from areas with existing damage. In-place pipe insulation was observed on the 7th and 9th floors. The insulation was intact and was suspect ACM and was not sampled.

Analytical results reported orally by the laboratory indicated the samples were negative. Written report pending.
