Subject: 114 Liberty Street
The cleaning will commence on Saturday, March 8, 2003.
This will give everyone one more day to finish up before access to the building is
restricted.
As you are aware, the contractors are in the building, they have mobilized
equipment, inspected the areas, planned their schedules, and are ready to
proceed. The environmental consultant, JLC, has completed the required pre-
cleanup sampling. ETS will continue with preparation activities tomorrow for the
start of the cleaning activities on Saturday. Please note with the installation of
the decontamination enclosure systems, the workers are required to wear
personal protective equipment.... so you may see workers with white coveralls
and respirators.
Again, the cleaning activities will not begin until Saturday, March 8, 2003.
