This is in response to your recent correspondence to 114 Liberty Street,
Christopher 0. Ward Manhattan. Your correspondence was forwarded to the New York City
Commissioner Department of Environmental Protection Asbestos Control Program for
response.
The above referenced building was part of the Unoccupied Residential

Deputy Commissioner Building Clean-up Program. The scope of work for the clean up and
environmental monitoring activities were developed by the Department in
Bureau of cooperation with the United States Environmental Protection Agency
Environmental (USEPA) for the removal of debris from the collapse of the World Trade
Compliance
Center. The Department monitored the activities for the duration of the clean

The clean up activities as per the clean up and monitoring specifications were
successfully completed. Attached please find a copy of the Department
correspondence to the Board of Directors of 114 Liberty Condominium with
enclosures. The enclosures include a copy of a correspondence from the
USEPA regarding the clearance levels with a summary of the analytical
results.
