4. Contaminants logged inside window air-conditioners and their
supporting system.
5. Contaminants imbedded in bituminous coatings on the roof and
parapet waits.
6. Contaminants imbedded in pigeon excrement.
7. Contaminants logged in many corners through out the facade and its
ornamentation.
8. Difficulties with rigging the building to do the clean-up , as swinging
scaffolds are difficult to contain the spread of the contaminants and dust of the
lead paint unless totally includes. (we feel that it would be necessary to scaffold
the entire building with steel frame scaffolding and sidewalk bridging.
9. Contaminants have entered the areas above the roll-up gates in alt the
store fronts. The building is set back slightly forming a small roof over the store
entrances where wooded signedge and roll up gates are affix to the facade.
10. Consideration must be given to the storekeepers as many are having
financial difficulties at this time. Clean up work, should be done in several stages
and at night, as to minimize problems for the storekeepers.
11. Please send notice to the Buildings Department, regarding the non
compliance with the Local Law 11 filing, that was due in February 2002, as it was
impossible to comply with the asbestos testing portion knowing, that the content
of the contaminants of the WTC.
