Dear Mr. Burns:

Law Pttginccring and Environmental Services, Inc. (LAW) porforrned indoor air quality sampling at the 33 Liberty, 33 Maiden Lane and. 95 Maiden Lane buildings located in Now York, Now York, 'fhe satnpJing was in response to employee concerns that the smoke and or dust entitling f'rorn the WTC recovery siLe nuty be entering the buildings and effecting the occupants health. The services were based on a verbal agreement between LAW and The Bank of New York on October 26, 2001. Mr. Michael libel, Armando Alvarez, Chris Duhour and Woody Cooper of LAW performed the on-site services en Oelober 27 and 28, 2001,

LAW collected levels of PCB's, Arsenic, Barium, Cadmium, Chromium, Load, Selenium, Silver, Total Volatile Organic Compounds and Total Dust in various areas of the three buildings mentioned above. 'rho [lank of Now York determined moniroting locations. The levels found were below the recommended Occupational Safety and Health and National institute or Occupational Safety and I Icalth exposure limits.
