Dear Mr. Dagger:

J.C. Broderick & Associates, Inc. (JCB) was retained to conduct limited environmental sampling for various parameters subsequent to the professional cleaning activities performed at the above referenced apartment One of the methodologies conducted included the sampling for the presence of asbestos fibers utilizing Microvac technology.

The MicroVac sampling was performed by a New York State Department of Labor (NYS DOL) certified inspector and air sampling technician. The samples were collected and analyzed utilizing transmission electron microscopy (TEM) viaASTM analysis method D575-95 for asbestos content This is a qualitative methodology, therefore any detectable, concentration of asbestos fibers would beconsidered a failing result A total of two (2) maples were collected. A composite sample collected from theapartment did reveal a detectable concentration of asbestos fibers. Since there was no visible bulk asbestos material to be removed, a detailed cleaning of the subject space. and it's contents, was performed by a professional and licensed abatement contractor.
