Dear Mr./Ms. Radhakrishnan:
Goodrich Maiden Associates, L.P. is the owner of the above-referenced office building. We received your notice dated April 13, 2002 by facsimile, in which you request copies of environmental hazard assessments and a summary of clean-up activities at the subject site.
Please be advised that this is the first notice we received regarding this matter. We did not receive any advisory from the NYC DEP or the NYC DOH in September of 2001. Shortly after the collapse of the World Trade Center we engaged a window washing contractor to remove the soot and dust from the exterior windows of the building. We did no additional work and did not perform any testing because we were not directed to do so by any municipal, federal, or state agency. In fact, widespread reports at the time stated that there were no asbestos or other environmental concerns to be addressed.
