Pursuant to Section 25-310 of the Administrative Code of the City of New York, the Landmarks Preservation Commission hereby approves certain alterations to the subject premises as proposed in your application completed on July 8, 2002.
The approved work consists of cleaning the exterior of fhe building, including the facade and roof, of debris related to the collapse of the World Trade Center, including, at the facade, removing all loose debris using, on the horizontal surfaces, non-metallic bristle brushes or scrapers, followed up by wet wiping and a low pressure water rinse of not more than 250 PSI, and, at the roof, collecting all loose debris, washing loose gravel, and wet wiping other surfaces, as described in specifications prepared the City of New York Department of Environmental Protection and submitted as components of this application

Staff has reviewed these specifications and finds that the work on the facade and roof will not detract from the architectural character of the building or streetscape; that it will not require the removal of any significant protected architectural material; and that it will not detract from the architectural character of the building or streetscape.
