ISSUED TO: Chi Tien Lui 75 Murray Street New York, NY 10007

Re: LPC - 031310 NOR 03-2022 45 MURRAY STREET HISTORIC DISTRICT NOT DESIGNATED Borough of Manhattan Block/Lot: 133/7

The staff of the Landmarks Preservation Commission recently received a request to review a proposal for work at the subject premises. The proposed work consists of cleaning the exterior of the building of debris related to the collapse of the World Trade Center, including removing all loose debris using, on the horizontal surfaces, non-metallic bristle brushes or scrapers, followed up by wet wiping and a low pressure water rinse of not more than 250 PSI, and, as described in specifications prepared the City of New York Department of Environmental Protection and submitted as components of this application.

Staff has reviewed these specifications and finds that the work on the facade will not require the removal of any significant material; that it will not detract from the architectural character of the building or the streetscape, and that cleaning the facade will bring the building closer to its historic appearance. Therefore, the Commission has no objection to the work proceeding at this time, or the issuance of permits by any other city agency.

A copy of this permit have been sent to the City of New York Department of Environmental Protection.
