RE: Post-Abatement Clearance Sample Results For 3/8/02

Ray.

Attached are the results of the sampling performed on the asbestos abatement job at WTC 6, B5 level on the captioned dates. These results contain area samples.

All area sample results were below the limit of 0.01 fibers per cubic centimeter (f/cc), which is the standard used for buildings having general occupancy. These results were also below the shift-adjusted exposure limit of 0.05 f/cc for a 12 hour shift.

Seven of the results indicate that the filter was “overloaded”, meaning that the amount of dust collected on the filter was too large to permit an accurate fiber count. Fred Burkhardt from ATC indicated that he will be taking measures to reduce the number of samples reported as “overloaded” in the future.

You should maintain these records as required by state, local, and federal requirements.
