The laboratory results from the testing on October 17, found no asbestos structures present in any of the samples. Reference the attached laboratoiy results from EMSL Analytical.
Asbestos Surface Sampling
The accredited asbestos laboratory analyzed 24 surface dust samples using polarized light microscopy (PLM). 18 samples were taken in the Gymnasium (including 4 from the upper cat walks). One sample from the bleachers had trace asbestos content. The remaining 17 samples had no asbestos detected in them. All 6 samples from the Classrooms had no asbestos detected. Reference the attached laboratory results from EMSL Analytical for locations.
Dased on the results of the air and surface dxist te.Rting, H. A. Bader Consultants did not find any evidence to suggest a potential asbestos or lead related health concern is present in any of the tested areas. As a precaution, prior to re-opening the Gymnasium the bleacher area should be thoroughly wet cleaned and HEPA vacuumed. If you have any questions, please call.
