VII. Compensation and Reimbursable Expenses TKLP

Cost Proposal Notes

1. We have allowed for 30 meetings during all the MEP design phases for base building and fitout. There are seven meetings for base building and 23 for fitout. 2. We have valued for four presentations during MEP design. These will be attended by two TKLP representatives each. We have split the cost into one presentation for base building, three for fitout. 3. We have allowed for four TKLP representatives to attend the two reliability analyses. Each will last two days; one will occur during the design development phase and the other during the contract document phase. This effort is assigned to fitout. 4. We have allowed for five trips to witness factory tests. This is assigned to fitout. 5. EXiring the construction administration phase, we have allowed for two representa­ tives to attend each of four pre-bid meetings. We apportioned the meetmgs as follows: one for base building and three for fitout. 6. We have valued for two representatives to attend weekly construction meetings dur­ ing the construction administration phase. These are apportioned as follows: 25% to base building, 75% to fitout. 7. We have allowed for four TKLP representatives to witness site testing for four days. This is mcluded m the fitout portion. 8. We have allowed for four TKLP representatives to perform punchlisting and verify completion of punchlisting. This is apportioned as follows: 25% to base buildmg, 75% to fitout. 9. Reproduction mcludes two sets each of copies and prints for tenant, owner, BBA and FA&ID review, plus one set of reproducibles at completion of each phase. 10. We have not valued for printing and copying for bidding. 11. We suggest that the first two-day reliability session be done at the conclusion of the schematic phase and that the second two-day reliability session be held at the conclu­ sion of the design development pheise, thereby shifting both forward by one phase. By doing this, the results of the reliability sessions could be included in the bid packages for the early purchased equipment and to the bid documents. The way they are pres­ ently organized, the bid documents will be completed prior to the reliability; and any­ thing developed in the reliability will result in changes and delays to the project. Any changes that are developed in relation to the early purchased equipment may m fact not be able to be achiev^ without considerable extra cost. This is because by the time this is run, the equipment could be in production.
