VI. Project Schedule TKLP Time frame for document preparation, review and approval is critical, therefore we have attached our overall schedule requirements (see attached Supplement E). Please provide a detailed schedule for the project phases to meet our requirements. Include the schedule for pre-purchase items. See the Project Schedule on the following six pages

Since this project schedule is aggressive, how do you propose to "get it right" the first time? (A solution is not required, just a brief explanation of your intended approach to this challenge.) It is our practice to develop a project production schedule that identifies tasks, drawings, and all deliverables. We also develop histograms for the staffing for the project. The schedule in cludes points where approvals must be reached, coordination must take place, where infor mation is required, and any other restraint. TKLP monitors progress based on this plan. We adjust the plan when changes take place and then run the project against the adjusted plan. Our project manager performs independent reviews of the disciplines' documents to back check their reporting on degree of completion. We issue status letters to our client monthly that indicate what has been accomplished that month against the plan, a look ahead against the plan, our present schedule status and our plan schedule status, and outstanding coordina tion and approved or other restraint items that could impact our schedule performance.

Scheduled internal quality control and quality assurance reviews by TKLP senior manage ment, and structured, timely review and approval procedures throughout the design and docu mentation process assures FCTPA and CDCSA that talent, energy, enthusiasm and experience will be applied efficiently and their work product checked against approved criteria.

Describe where and how your firm has solved this situation before. Be specific. All our major projects are done against a schedule plan and our record of schedule perfor mance is excellent. Relevant projects include; Shearson Lehman Brothers, Merrill Lynch at the Teleport site, and the United Airlines Apollo Reservation System.
