II. Firm Background TKLP

TKLP is pleased to provide the following information about the firm.

The Kling-Lindquist Partnership, Inc., (TKLP) is an integrated, full-service, 300-person plan ning and design firm. Our professional expertise is concentrated into specialty groups, each drawing upon our combing architectural, engineering, and interior design resources. These specialty groups undertake specific facility types, such as office and mixed-use projects, insti tutional facilities, research and development, computer operations, and "high-tech" manufacturing. Other groups provide consulting services in interior design; energy systems; and construction planning, scheduling, and cost control.

Since our founding in 1946, we have completed more than 3,000 projects totaling over ten billion dollars in constructed value. Our work has been honored for architectural and engi neering excellence by more than 90 awards from professional societies and industry associations.

With the retirement of Vincent G. Kling, Sr., in 1985, the firm, previously composed of The Kling Partnership and Kling-Lindquist Engineers, was consolidated into a single organization providing architectural, engineering, interior design, and consulting services.

TKLP has developed a general architectural/engineering practice designing a wide range of corporate, institutional, and developer facilities, and has established a significant reputation for the design of high technology, computer, and research facilities.
