Responsibilities As design principal, Mr. Vinh serves as the senior designer for the entire team. Responsibili­ ties include: participating and confirming program information; developing the master plan and global architectural design issues; providing "hands-on" leadership of the design effort; creating appropriate design solutions that satisfy the functional, aesthetic, environmental, and humanistic issues within the budgetary requirements.

Mr. Vinh is internationally recognized for designing many successful and complex research facilities worldwide. In the last ten years, he has designed over a dozen research facilities totalling over 6,500,000 SF, and many public and institutional facilities totalling over 2,000,000 SF. He has master plaimed and designed many significant facilities including the largest R&D facilities in the U.S. and U.K. The two complexes total over 4,500,000 SF. Mr. Vinh has received numerous recognitions and two major awards for his projects. He is known for his humanistic approach and for striving to achieve a timeless quality for the built environ­ ment.

Prior to joining The Kling-Lindquist Partnership, Inc., (TKLP) in 1977, Mr. Vinh headed a private practice in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, where he designed several projects for the Hershey Hotel, AT&T, the U.S. Army, and for the Saudi Arabian government. Since coming to TKLP, he has worked on a wide variety of projects as project architect and project de­ signer. In 1989 he was elected partner and design principal and has lead the design and master planning of many major and significant projects
