(212) 221-8635 Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg has directed city agencies to establish a hotline to answer questions and provide information on environmental conditions in downtown Manhattan. This hotline is being coordinated by the Office of Emergency Management and is staffed by employees of the New York City Department of Health and Department of Environmental Protection.
The hotline is open Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Residents, businesses, and office workers in downtown Manhattan are invited to call the hotline. Callers are welcome to provide the hotline with information regarding any air quality tests that were performed privately.
