1. Who issued the decree for residents to return? 2. What is DEP/DOH role in determining that residents could return? 3. Who has monitored the clean up, commercial and residential? 4. When it was okay to open the Stock Exchange?

DOH Clean up Instructions

1. Did these instructions differ from established guidelines? 2. How did DOH disseminate this information throughout Lower Manhattan? 3. How did the instructions change as new information emerged? 4. What is the current status in regards to clean up information, i.e. Residential Buildings that are still contaminated, Deutche Bank deconstruction? 5. Asbestos removal responses from a variety of Building owners, to show what a low threshold satisfied DEP and DOH, why such a low threshold? 6. City only doing PLM testing versus EPA TEM testing, OSHA uses only PLM but if they find in one site the whole site is deemed infected. Why is the City not doing TEM testing? 7. How do the tests results differ from EPA? 8. Why is there not a uniform standard applied by City and Feds to get the best results? 9. Looking back at the clean-up process, what recommendations might you give for setting a protocol for clean-ups of disasters of this magnitude?

1. Who certified buildings were cleaned? 2. What was the certification process? 3. Has there been follow up with building owners who complied? Who did not comply?

Emergency Worker Equipment Requirements

1. EPA cleanup not being done at the firehouses? Who has the responsibility to do cleanup at the firehouses? 2. What is the status on Firehouse clean up? 3. What equipment is now mandated for extreme emergency procedures like 9/11? 4. Is there a separate health registry for 9/11 emergency workers? If not why?
