B. Transportation Equipment: Transportation Equipment, as required, shall be suitable for loading temporary storage, transit, and unloading of contaminated waste without exposure to persons or property. Any temporary storage containers positioned outside the building for temporary storage shall be metal, closed, and locked.

C. Vacuum Equipment: All vacuum equipment utilized in the Work Area shall utilize HEPA filtration systems. Vacuum equipment shall be as manufactured by Nilfisk of America of Malvern, PA. Recommended Model Nos. GS 81 or GS 83 or approved equal.

D. Vacuum Attachments; Soft Brush Attachment, Drill Dust Control Kit.

E. Electric Sprayer: An electric airless sprayer suitable for application of encapsulating material and shall be approved by and listed with Underwriters Laboratory.

F. Water Sprayer: The water sprayer shall be an airless or other low-pressure sprayer for amended water application.

G. Portable Shower; For personnel decontamination, Enviro-Clean by CRSI; Aero-Porta Shower; or approved equal.

H. Water Atomizer; Powered air-misting device, equipped with a ground fault interrupter and equipped to operate continuously. Water atomizer device shall be the "Tri-Jet DS", No. 6228, as manufactured by Fog Master Corp, of Hialeah, FL, or EM 490 Portable Electrical/Airless Sprayer as manufactured by Graco, Inc., P O Box 1441, Minneapolis, MN 55440-1444 or approved equal.

I. Brushes: All brushes shall have nylon bristles.

J. Hand Power Tools: shall be equipped with HEPA-Fiitered local exhaust ventilation, if used to drill, or othenvise disturb ACM.

K. Other Tools and Equipment: The Contractor shall provide other suitable tools for the stripping, removal, encapsulation, and disposal activities including but not limited to: hand-held scrapers, sponges, rags, rounded-edge shovels, brooms, and carts.

L. Fire Extinguisher: Provide type "A" fire extinguisher for temporary offices and similar spaces where there is minimal danger of electrical or grease-oil-flammable liquid Ures, in other areas, provide type "ABC" dry chemical extinguisher of NFPA recommended types for the exposure in each case. All fire extinguisher shall comply with the applicable recommendations of NFPA Standard 10, "Standard for Portable Extinguisher". Provide a minimum of four (4) fire extinguisher in each work area, one (1) in each equipment room of the decontamination unit and one (1) outside each work area in the clean room or directly outside the same. Locate fire extinguishers where they are most effective for their intended purpose, but do not exceed seventy-five feet (75') between fire extinguishers within the work area.

M. First Aid Kits: The Contractor shall maintain adequately stocked first aid kits imhe clean room and the work area. The first aid kit shall be in compliance with ANSI Z308.1.
