’’57 Years Of Service” JOSEPH SPINA LEONARD JONES GEORGE HINZ ROBERT LACAS Once again the Department of Water supply, Gas and Electricity, American Legion Post #1008, is asking for your support. We have ’DECEASED

been undertaking this drive for the past 57 years, since 1946. Your contributions make it easier for us to distribute gifts to servicemen and servicewomen. We visit several Veterans Administration Medical Centers between St. Albans, Queens and Albany N.Y. We also distribute sundry items toiletries and Canteen Books. The Ladies Auxiliary has a Holiday Gift Shop at the 24th Street VA Medical Center and we have given them items such as ladies gifts, and monetary donations which the Hospitalized Veteran selects for his family at no cost to him. These gifts are than wrapped and sent to their families for the holidays. Most of US spend time with our families on the holidays - Do not let the Hospitalized Veteran feel left out. The sacrifices they made during the time of war make it possible for us to enjoy the Holidays and our way ol living. Please Be Generous With Your Gifts, The Veterans Have Been Most Generous In Theirs.

Please, Let Us Not Forget Them This Holiday Season. Co-Chairman: Sal J. Ascione Past Post Commander Past County Commander Past Dept.
