In coming months, the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation, in conjunction with the State, the City and its partner agencies, will continue to study the possible impact of transportation invest­ ment alternatives on the future of Lower Manhattan and also explore potential sources of funds. Potential sources include the following;

• LMDC Community Development Block Grant funds, • Insurance proceeds related to the destruction of the transportation complex at the World Trade Center site, • The capital programs of the transportation agencies, • Transportation user fees, and • Other federal funding sources.
