Employers with flu vaccine supplies intended for healthy workers were asked to join the Department in the effort to help improve the health outlook of vulnerable New Yorkers.

Companies such as Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Merrill Lynch, Executive Health Group, Citigroup, and AXA Financial have together made over 2,500 doses of flu vaccine available to the Department. State Comptroller Audits On November 2, the Office of the State Comptroller sent a letter to Commissioner announcing that an audit has been scheduled of the Department Health's "oversight activities in ensuring the health and safety of children in day c7 facilities." The entrance conference for this audit will take place on December 1. State Comptroller is also conducting audits of DOH monitoring of HIV Preveni contracts and of DOH inspections of food service establishments. The draft report f HIV audit is expected in December.
