•Sat nmary: The objective of this project is to abate the asbestos dust contamination
from 102/104 Greenwich Street, New York, New York as a result of the attack of the
World Trade Center. Asbestos dust contamination has been identified on all floors by the
pressure
New York Department of Environmental Protection. A critical barrier negative
containment will be installed on all levels prior to cleaning. Once proper negative
pressure is achieved all non-porous surfaces (ie. walls, floors, ceilings, wood chairs,
tables, metal items, etc.) will be cleaned and stored. All others (ie. curtains, table clothes,
cloth chairs, ceiling tiles, etc.) will be discarded as contaminated.

Construct isolation barrier to hardware store.
Pre-clean all critical barrier areas.
Install critical barriers with 2 layers of 6 mil fire resistant polyethylene.
Install air filtration devices to achieve .02 negative pressure by digital
water manometer.

Remove filters from all heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems.
Clean all contaminated spaces by wet wiping and HEPA vacuum.
Properly place all contaminated debris in appropriately labeled impermeable 6 mil
bags.
