Dear R. Radhakrishnan:
We received your letter dated 2/12/02 and are enclosing copies of the following
environmental hazardous assessments in response to your request:
• OCT Environmental Advisory, Inc. reports dated 9/28/01 covering the lobby, rental
office, gym and apt PHL (ALL apartments in the building were assessed by OCI and
all resultant reports were identical to the enclosed apt PHL. These assessments were
made subsequent to abatement work performed on the property by Abatement
International Advatex Associates, Inc. shortly after 9111. (9/26 invoice attached.)
• GCI Environmental Advisory, Inc. report dated 12/21/01 covering the noted public
areas -
In addition to the abatement and professional assessment of building contamination noted
above, the following cleanup activities were successfully carried out in a timely manner.
Steam clean, filter change all HVAC units in all apartments.
Hepa vacuum all apartment HVAC sleeves prior to reinstallation of
cleaned HVAC units.
Hepa vacuum all window tracks.
Power wash 100% building exterior, including roof and terrace areas.
Hepa vacuum all public corridors and common areas.
Change filters and clean all non-apartment HVAC units.
Power washed the grounds in front and in back of the building.
Thoroughly washed or replaced as needed plants, planters and planting bed
materials inside and outside the building.
During the months following the attack, we monitored the testing results posted on the
EPA web site relative to our building location. We are continuing to assess the condition
of our building exterior and HVAC units for cleanliness related to the 9/11 terror attack
and are ready to address any serious, revealed health concerns.
