A. INFORMATION FOR PCM ANALYSIS
1. Samples shall be analyzed using NIOSH 7400 method.
2. The laboratory performing the sample analysis must be accredited for PCM analysis by the AIHA or by the Department of Health pursuant to Section 502 of the Public Health Law (ELAP Certification).
B. INFORMATION FOR TEN ANALYSIS
1. For schools, clearance samples must be analyzed ny the AHERA method as per 40 CFR 763 Appendix A to Subpart E. The five inside samples shall be read first. If the five inside fail, then the five outside, two field blanks and one sealed blank shall be read.
2. For non-schools, clearance samples shall be read by EPA Level II. performed by the Yamate et al. Method.
C. GENERAL INFORMATION FOR BOTH PCM & TEN
1. All sample results shall include the name and address of the laboratory performing the analysis, the laboratory certification Number, the date of the analysis, the analytical method used, and the name and signature of the person performing the analysis.
2. The completed original (white) sheet of the CHAIN-OF-CUSTODY from should be returned to Warren & Panzer, the carbon (yellow) should be retained by the laboratory, and the pink copy should be retained by the field technician.
3. All air sample cassettes shall be returned to Warren & Panzer Engineers, P.C.
4. All invoices should be sent to Warren & Panzer Engineers, P.C., 228 East 45th Street 10th Floor New York, New York 10017 Attn: Accounts Payable. Please include W & P File # on all invoices.
5. Two (2) original copies of the laboratory results should be sent to Warren & Panzer Engineers, P.C., 228 East 45th Street 10th Floor New York, New York 10017
