Dear Resident,
We are very pleased to have you back home at Le Rivage. As you probably know, the staff at 21 West Street performed exceptionally under very difficult circumstances, and we are all very grateful to them for protecting the building and your homes and pets. Gus Flores literally slept in the lobby to monitor access, and Flo, Alex, Robert and Miguel all stayed with Le Rivage around the clock to assist. The entire staff is made up of wonderful and caring people and we want to acknowledge them.
Le Rivage has been extensively inspected by structural engineers, and it is in perfect structural condition. In addition, all building systems have been checked and serviced. Le Rivage is fully operational.
As you have heard, asbestos levels in the Financial District have been very low. Our tests by certified inspectors confirm that the building is safe for occupancy. In addition, the building has been cleaned from top to bottom including apartment interiors.
To thank you for your patience during this unfortunate period we are waiving all rent from September 11, 2001 to September 30, 2001. To assist you with your cleaning expenses, all washers and dryers in Le Rivage will operate without charge until October 11, 2001.
Once again, we welcome you home, and thank you for your understanding. We will do everything within our power to make you comfortable.
