GCMS Scan For Unknowns
Other unknown compounds ug/L 11/30/2001 DLV
The GCMS scan, from 35 to 550 amu, does not reveal the presence of unusual compounds.
However, bis(2-Ethylhexyl)phthalate is present at 55 ug/L, probably due to contamination occuring during collection
or analysis. The recovery for the Surrogate Standard in this sample was 46%. Recoveries for 41 of the 44
compounds in the LSC Standard were outside of EPA 625 acceptance ranges, soon however, GCMS method
acceptance ranges will be established and used instead.
