Qualitative analysis of this sample by method 524.2 shows the presence of a TIC which elutes at 30.3 minutes(3 minutes after the last internal standard). The mass spectrum of the TIC contains the ions 73, 147, 45 and 59 and closely resembles that of a substitued silane.
It should be noted that the septum on the 40m1 vial which was used for this analysis was placed with the silicone side facing the sample.
